Universal Battery 200Ah 12V Nano-Silica AGM Battery
Utilizing advanced technology, Universal Battery Nano-Silica Batteries deliver superior cycle life, extended shelf life, and improved charge acceptance compared to traditional GEL batteries. Nano-Silica technology also provides additional battery cycles and longer shelf life compared to AGM batteries, while maintaining high capacity and offering more power than both AGM and GEL batteries.
Nano-Silica is produced by significantly reducing the size of fumed silica particles. This reduced size allows a colloidal solution of Nano-Silica and lead-acid electrolyte to easily penetrate the AGM microfiber plate separator material. This eliminates the need for the semi-rigid separator typically used in traditional GEL battery construction. Removing the semi-rigid separator brings the plates closer together while still offering improved temperature control and reduced acid stratification.
Consequently, Nano-Silica batteries combine the advantages of AGM construction with the enhanced temperature control and reduced acid stratification of GEL batteries, resulting in superior battery technology compared to conventional AGM and GEL batteries.
